My mum aged 85 was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy at Tan Tock Seng Hospital A & E Dept. on 16 Jan.2022. As there wasn't bed space available from the ward we went back home for own recovery with some medications. Doctor said that it may take many weeks or months for recovery. We had 3 sessions of Acupuncture, mouth /tongue nerve exercise and moxibustion therapies. On mid of 3rd week she completely regained senses. My cousin's friend in 40's took more than 2 months to recover.
The left eye and lip no longer drooped (above picture) .Eating difficulty also recovered. Thanks also to the lady professor from China who taught me mouth/tongue exercise almost 20 yrs ago.
